HOW LIGHT FOR JESUS STARTED

The Instagram account known as @light.for.Jesus originally started as a thrift account. July of 2020, Lucy opened an Instagram account to sell clothing that she had barely touched or gone unworn. Unfortunately, there were not many sales made through the account, so Lucy closed the Instagram account (@stargazing.thrifts) a mere two months after starting it. 
Oddly enough. Lucy did not delete the account. She decided to deactivate it for the time being, just in case she would need a backup or spam social media account. November of 2020, Lucy reopened her Instagram account to share her Bible art journaling. She did this after being inspired by @big.j.journaling (a Christian Instagram account run by two high school seniors, Sydney and Maylee). She started to share her Bible art, Bible cards, and encouraging Twitter posts to help grow her faith and encourage others to know Jesus.
Now, in 2022, Light for Jesus has turned into a community of over twelve thousand believers. The community has expanded to; a small business, Love First Company (@lovefirstco on Instagram), a Pinterest account (@lightforjesus on Pinterest), a youtube channel (Lucy Pink on Youtube), and this blog to encourage you in your walk of faith!
