thick unruly hair,

sweaty.

she wants

to be skinny.

full lips, upturned nose, heart-shaped face.

defined jawline and cheekbones.

flat stomach, narrow shoulders,

thin eyebrows, perfect hair.

always put together.

she knows she can’t be the only person

to hate what she sees.

it’s just what society has created her to want to be.

something she will never achieve.
