God doesn’t always answer your prayers the way you want Him to

This was even true for Jesus. When He was in the Garden of Gethsemane He begged God to let Him live, to let our sins be covered another way (Matthew 26:39-44). Yet even when He was praying, Jesus knew that His own people would kill Him. Jesus dying in the cross was right in Gods timing. It had to be done so that we can live now and go to Heaven one day.
